How we started

The school has been started under the auspices of the C.K.Kumaraswami Gounder Trust for Charities, Gobichettipalayam. It was started in 1968 as a Nursery and it was recognised by the Government of Tamilnadu as Matriculation School from 1985 and was upgraded as Matriculation Higher Secondary School from June 1994. The school is the sister instituion of Palaniammal Girls Higher Secondary School.

What we expect

Dos and Don'ts

School discipline

1.The diary should be brought to the school daily.

2. Pupil must be in the school premises 10 minutes before the bell. Late comers should bring their late attendance record signed by their parents.

3. The school uniform must be worn on all working days of the school and during all the school functions. Pupil with incomplete uniforms will not be permitted to attend classes.

4. Pupil should be clean and tidy. Uniform should be washed and pressed. Shoes should be well polished and socks absolutely clean. Each pupil should bring a clean hand kerchief to school daily.

5. Pupil are responsible for the care of their personal accessories, books, pens, tiffin carriers and other articles. They should keep their books and note books neatly, covered in proper order.

6. Expensive jewellery or ornaments are discouraged and the school management takes no responsibility for loss.

7. Writing or scribling on walls, dirtying the class room or damaging any school property is forbidden.

8. Only English should be spoken within the school premises.

9.Pupil are not allowed to give presents to teachers.

10. Collection for any purpose what so-ever requires the correspondent's sanction.

11.Indiscipline and inattentive on the part of the student will be reviewed seriously. Severe punishment will be given.

parental co-operation

1. Parents are requested to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in the daily progress of their children.

2. Parents should check the diary every day note the home work and see that the homework is completed.

3.Progress reports which are sent to parents should be scrutinized and duly signed. Parents should see that their children make a special effort to study those subjects in which their children are weak.

4.Parents Guardians are requested not to meet their children during the class hours without previous permission from the principal /correspondent.

5. Students should not allow to go home in between the school hours.

6. According to any inconvenience send the students only with their parents.

7.Pay the term fees within the scheduled time

8.Every pupil must take part in the school games and other activities unless declared physically unfit or unless exempted by the principal.

9.Parents are requested not to give any money to their children unless there is a written request from the school. Pupils should not purchase any article or food from unauthorised dealers at or near the school premises

10. Parents are requested to read the rules and regulations carefully and see that they are followed.
